The Challenge
A global hi-tech manufacturer needed to comply with ASC 606 revenue recognition standards across 30+ business areas, covering a wide range of offerings—products, services, bundles, and warranties. Testing was complex and involved multiple upstream systems (SAP, Salesforce, web platforms) and downstream validations in SAP RAR. With tight timelines and limited business user availability, manual testing became a bottleneck, increasing risks and costs.
Our Solution
We implemented a custom SAP test automation framework to simulate end-to-end revenue scenarios dynamically. Over 200 scripts were created to automate test cycles (CRP, PTT, UAT) by staging data across systems and validating in SAP RAR. The framework supported diverse order scenarios, streamlined testing across multiple cycles, and continues to be used for post-go-live regression testing.
