Due to the perishable nature of dairy products and fixed commodity pricing, the company faced challenges with supply variability, real-time product mix optimization, and high-speed distribution. Outdated IMI and Oracle 11i systems couldn’t support key needs like traceability, lot control, and FIFO. Manual processes increased costs, prompting a shift to modern, agile systems.
We conducted a Proof of Concept to showcase future capabilities like RF/mobile warehouse management for faster, more accurate material handling. A multi-phase Oracle E-Business Suite R12 roadmap was finalized to replace legacy systems with advanced solutions, enabling end-to-end supply chain efficiency and operational agility.
